This well-tolerated form of iron is produced through a special process that binds (chelates) iron to two glycine amino acids, forming iron bisglycinate, a well-absorbed form of this essential mineral. Studies show ferrous bisglycinate is better absorbed than ferrous sulfate, ferrous gluconate, and other common inorganic forms of iron.† Supplies 30 mg elemental iron per capsule.
