Optimal Creatine
Details
Optimal Creatine by Seeking Health contains 2.5mg of Creatine MagnaPower® (magnesium creatine complex) per serving. Creatine is naturally produced in the human body from other amino acids and helps to supply energy to all cells in the body, due to its role in ATP regeneration. It is made from three amino acids, arginine, glycine and methionine, which are combined in the liver. Creatine may help support healthy muscle function and power by providing immediate ATP (adenosine triphosphate) for energy during speed or strength training. It supplies energy to muscle cells for short bursts of energy (such as lifting weights) through phosphate replenishment of ATP. Creatine also draws water into the muscles, an action known as cell volumization, potentially enhancing muscle mass and appearance.
Magnesium is the fourth most abundant mineral in the body and is essential for maintaining optimal health. It is needed for more than 300 biochemical reactions in the body, including those required for oxidative phosphorylation and normal energy production. It helps maintain normal muscle and nerve function and supports a healthy heart and immune system. Supplementation of magnesium may help support athletic performance by supporting healthy erythrocyte and hemoglobin levels. It may also help support normal protein synthesis and energy metabolism.
